IRD811D Pro – Vibration Meter and Bearing Health Checker
The IRD811D Pro is a portable instrument from IRD Mechanalysis that measures overall vibration amplitude as acceleration, velocity and displacement. It is also a bearing health checker: it measures Spike Energy, a parameter that helps assess the condition of anti-friction (rolling element) bearings.
The IRD811D is easy to use, and its display is easy to read even in bright sunlight. It is a practical tool for routine vibration checks on motors, pumps, fans, compressors and other machines. By trending Spike Energy and comparing it with charts, maintenance teams can judge a bearing's remaining useful life and act in advance to keep operation and maintenance running smoothly.
