About the IRD8100
IRD8100 is IRD’s wall-mounted Machinery Protection Transmitter. It delivers nearly the same monitoring and protection capability as the IRD8800 rack’s M88200 vibration monitor module — but in a field-mount IP65 enclosure you can install next to the machine, without a control-room rack.
Order it for Vibration, Temperature, Speed or Gap. Designed and made in India by IRD Mechanalysis Limited.
IRD8100 vs M88200: Same idea of continuous protection (live display, 4-20 mA, MODBUS, alarm/trip relays, buffered waveform, phase reference) — IRD8100 is wall-mounted beside the machine; M88200 lives in an IRD8800 rack in the control room.
IRD8100 vs IRD7100: Both are wall-mounted MPTs. Prefer IRD8100 when you want M88200-class buffered outputs, phase reference and dual-channel vibration protection in one field enclosure. Prefer IRD7100 when you already standardise on the IRD7100 family for vibration, gap, speed or temperature.
