IRD7200 - Machinery Signal Transmitter (MST)

Introduction

IRD Mechanalysis Limited Designs, Manufactures and Supplies Online Systems for Vibration, Temperature, Gap, Speed and Turbine Monitoring. IRD7200 MST (Machinery Signal Transmitter) is One such Online System that is Pre-dominantly used for Vibration Monitoring - but can also be ordered for Temperature, Speed or Gap Monitoring. It is a Din-Rail mountable 2-Channel Unit that can be used for Round-the-Clock Monitoring.


When being used for Vibration Monitoring - it can do Simultaneous and Independent Monitoring of 2 Channels wherein the Input Sensor can be used for Casing Vibration Monitoring (via Accelerometer (mV/g) or Velometer (mV/mm/sec) or for Relative Shaft Vibration Monitoring (via Eddy Current based Non-Contact Pickup (mV/um)). The Transmitter then provides 4-20 mA output that can be connected to DCS/PLC/SCADA/Cloud as well as 0-5 V DC Output that can be used an Input to External Display. It also provides 1:1 Buffered Output per Channel that can be used for Connection to a Vibration Analyzer or Data Acquisition Unit for further analysis of the signal. Power and Channel Healthiness indication is available on Front via LED Lamps.

Mounting Accessories

For Mounting of Vibration Sensors - we can provide Studs, Pads, Magnets, Brackets, Adhesive, etc. as required. Proper mounting of Vibration Sensor is cruicial to accuracy in Monitoring. We consult on how to mount and where to mount the Vibration Sensor for Optimal Performance

Vibration Sensors

We supply both Casing Vibration Sensors as well as Relative Shaft Vibration Sensors. We help chose the right sensor for the application. Casing Vibration Sensors can be Accelerometers (mV/g) or Velometers (mV/mm/s) and Relative Shaft Vibration Sensors are Non-Contact (mV/um)

Cables

We supply the interconnecting cable for Sensor to Junction Box as well as Junction Box to Cabinet/Control Room. We can also provide Bulk Cables in Twisted Pairs or Triads for Long Distances. We can also provide CAT 5, CAT 6 and Fiber Optic Cable for Soft Link Communication

Junction Boxes

We can provide Junction Boxes for Mounting of Non-Contact Sensor Driver or for termination of Contact Vibration Sensor on Terminals. The Junction Box can be provided with Input and Output Glands of Desired type and size and the Junction Box can be FRP, MS, SS, CRCA, ABS, etc.

Cabinets

We can provide Pre-Wired Wall Mounted or Free Standing Cabinets wherein Terminals are made available for Power, Input and Output Connections. The Cabinets can be of required Size with Viewing Glass, Indication Lamps, Service Socket, Lamps, MCB and Peripherals

Data Viewing & Analysis

We can provide Software for Data Viewing, Trending and Analysis (We call it Oliver™). Our Monitoring System can also be integrated to DCS/PLC/SCADA/Cloud via 4-20 mA, MODBUS or MQTT. These insights help take Data driven Decisions and carry out Predictive Maintenance
