M88280 is a Vibration Monitoring Card of the family IRD8800. It is API 670 Compliant. It is a Dual Channel Card which accepts input from a vibration sensor or charge amplifier. It has special filters for filtering Vibrations at 50 Hz and 100 Hz. Thus, this card finds application in Generator End-Winding Vibration as it informs about possible electrical faults that usually occur at Line Frequency i.e 50 Hz and its second harmonic i.e 100 Hz.
The card has in-built alphanumeric and bar-graph display. It also has push buttons on front panel for accessing the password protected setup menu. The card is able to provide 4-20 mA output, Alarm and Trip Relay Contacts per Channel and Buffered Outputs. The card also accepts standard Keyphasor input and provides TTL Pulse Output.
